When it comes to tractor tires, there are a few different categories. They are broken down into types based on their performance in various situations. All you need to do is decide how you plan on using your tractor, then buy the tire type that matches.

  • R-1: Also known as agricultural tires, these are the default choice for dry land farming. They feature traction-grabbing lugs that are designed at deep angles to provide exceptional grip.
  • R-2: These options are best suited for wet turf. The increased tread depth provides better grip on slippery surfaces. These are often used for rice paddy farming.

  • F-2M: These options are built with four ribs and are ideal for tractors that carry large loads on hard terrain.
